Artist's Statement

Come Together combines visual and performing art through music and photography. The photos in this series represent my connection to The Beatles' music and provide the viewer with a visual soundtrack to my life's greatest moments. I am pleased to share those moments through photography.

I developed the concept for this collection in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearing the 9th month of my second pregnancy, the daily isolation was getting the best of me. I turned to music for comfort which inspired flashbacks of years past. This was so obviously the soundtrack of my life.

The Beatles' music is timeless as it takes me back to some of my favorite memories and continues to echo through the halls of my home as I play it for my children. In this series, you will view images of loved ones whom I had to honor of photographing, allowing me to bring this visual soundtrack to life.
