There are many ways to tell a story, whether through writing, pictures, movies, speaking, or many more. In this exhibition, I wanted to showcase both my love for photography and show how different forms of storytelling can have the same result. They say that pictures tell a thousand words, and stories help paint a picture in one's mind. I combined these two art forms to complement each other and to bring childlike nostalgia to the viewers, like a picture book we would have read in the past.

Each of the 8 pictures has a story that conveys different types of genres. We have fantasy, mystery, thriller, and action. Each story is a short tale that is based on the pictures and written as a summary of the stories they would be from. I start with a basic idea of what I want the story to tell, shoot that photo based on the idea, then add in details to finish the story.

I love to imagine a world where anything is possible, and with both photography and writing, it can help me express that love to others. All of these stories are works that I can see myself writing full novels about and doing sessions of photoshoots for. This show helped me open the door to the possibilities of what I can do in the future.
