Media Manipulation is a series of photographs that is designed to emphasize the dangers of social media. Each photograph is exposing the baggage behind each perfect photo that is commonly posted on social media. This series is both a confession and reflection of how social media is used to mask serious issues we face on a daily basis. Social media has been linked to an increase in mental health issues, low self-esteem, and suicide. This series should help us view social media posts differently and encourage a change in what we post and how we post it.
