The VRL maintains a separate electronic image database, a comprehensive slide collection, VHS tapes and DVDs on art and historical topics, and a modest holding of non-circulating reference books and textbooks.
The VRL is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when courses are in session, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when they are not. The curator and staff of the VRL support instruction with image databases, development and maintenance of the VRL website and Art History and Visual Culture course websites, equipment and media checkout, and first-line technical support for AH faculty.
